US oil hits $70 for 1st time in 3 years

U.S. oil prices rose to $70 per barrel for the first time in nearly three years.

West Texas Intermediate last traded above $70 in October 2018.

On Sunday, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline was $3.05 in the United States.
