The Trump administration plans to launch a global campaign to end the criminalization of homosexuality.
Richard Grenell, the U.S. ambassador to Germany who's the highest-profile openly gay person in the Trump administration, will lead the effort.

Efforts may include working with the United Nations, the European Union and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
