The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' monthly jobs report, which had been scheduled for release this morning, will not come out on time due to the government shutdown.
The bureau's more than 2,000 workers are furloughed.
The U.S. unemployment rate has increased from a seasonally adjusted 4% in January to 4.3% in August.
