US has record job openings

The United States has more job openings than it ever has before.

In April, there were a record high 6 million open jobs.

At the same time, 6.8 million unemployed Americans are looking for a job.

"If one is looking for a job, it's out there," said Peter Boockvar, chief market analyst at the Lindsey Group, a research firm. "It just may not be exactly what is wanted."
