The U.S. government has shut down amid a funding package bout between Democrats and Republicans.
Democrats reportedly have refused to support a Republican funding package unless concessions on health care are included.
The shutdown is the first since a 35-day period in late 2018 and early 2019 during President Donald Trump's first presidency.
