US faces infant formula shortage

The United States is facing a large-scale infant formula shortage, The Guardian reports.

Millions of babies in the country rely on the formula, which is the only nutrition recommended for infants who are not exclusively breastfed.

Supply disruptions and recent safety recalls are among issues that have led to the recall, according to the report.
