US, EU announce partnership to undercut Russian energy

The United States is looking to reduce the European Union's dependence on Russian energy.

Through a new partnership, the United States pledged to increase liquified natural gas exports to Europe by 15 billion cubic meters this year.

President Joe Biden said Russian President Vladimir Putin uses the country's energy to “coerce and manipulate his neighbors."
