The U.S. economy grew by a 0.5% annual pace in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to data from the Commerce Department.
The Commerce Department previously estimated a 0.7% increase in gross domestic product.
Federal government spending and investment fell at a 16.6% annual pace due to last fall's 43-day government shutdown.
