U.S. Cellular is cutting 4,100 jobs, including roles in Missouri and Illinois, as part of the sale of its wireless operations to T-Mobile.
T-Mobile will reportedly offer jobs to a majority of the impacted workers.
U.S. Cellular's deal with T-Mobile is valued at $4.4 billion. It was unveiled last year.
