U.S. commercial casinos had their best month to date in March.
The American Gaming Association reports casinos won more than $5.3 billion from gamblers. That's up from a previous record of $4.9 billion set in July 2021.
“Consumers continue to seek out gaming’s entertainment options in record numbers,” said Bill Miller, the association’s president and CEO, noting attendance has been high "despite continued headwinds from supply chain constraints, labor shortages and the impact of soaring inflation."
