U.S. Bank declares 33-cent dividend

Minneapolis-based U.S. Bancorp approved a 10 percent increase in the dividend rate on its common stock to 33 cents per share for the fourth quarter.

The dividend is payable on Jan. 16 to shareholders of record Dec. 30. The company will have paid a dividend for 143 consecutive years, since 1863, as of that date.

U.S. Bancorp has $207 billion in assets and 12 banking centers in southwest Missouri. Shares of the company’s stock (NYSE: USB) closed Dec. 20 at $30.42, compared to a 52-week range of $26.80 to $31.65.
