President Donald Trump has granted a one-month exemption on tariffs for U.S. automakers.
The decision came after Trump spoke with Ford, General Motors and Stellantis leaders.
"He told them that they should get on it, start investing, start moving, shift production here to the United States of America where they will pay no tariff," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.
