Unsent letter from Titanic passenger sets auction record

An undisclosed buyer bid $166,000 at auction for a letter recovered from the body of a passenger on the Titanic.

The document is said to be one of the last letters written before the Titanic struck an iceberg and sank.

The sale by British auction house Henry Aldridge & Son topped the previous record for correspondence sent from the Titanic.
