A federal indictment alleging New York City Mayor Eric Adams committed criminal offenses was unsealed on Thursday.
Adams is charged with allegedly running a decadelong campaign contribution scheme, bribery and other crimes, CNBC reports.
Included in the 57-page indictment are allegations that Adams obtained illegal donations for his 2021 mayoral campaign.
