Univision buys stake in The Onion

Univision has purchased a minority stake in Onion Inc., the company behind the satirical news site The Onion.

Popular among Latinos in the U.S., Univision is among the top Spanish-language media companies.

The investment was undisclosed for Onion Inc., which also produces pop culture website The A.V. Club and the humorous social media site Clickhole.
