A research team at the University of Missouri has been awarded $8 million in grants to study bullying prevention.
The U.S. Department of Education funding was approved for the team lead by Chad Rose, an associate professor in the MU Department of Special Education and the director of the Mizzou Ed Bully Prevention Lab.
The funding would be used to examine the effectiveness of the K-5 Second Step social-emotional learning initiative and continue an online professional development program to educate teachers.
