University of Missouri receives $1.5M donation

The University of Missouri received a $1.5 million donation pledge to support its business operations.

Jim Pace, a 1965 graduate and descendant of one of the families that helped found the university, said he hopes the funding will reduce operating costs as state funding declines.

The $1.5 million pledge includes $150,000 he donated in 2016.
