The U.S. Department of Energy has awarded a $20 million grant to the University of Missouri.
MU plans to use the funds, along with a matching $20 million from the state, for research, development and production of radioisotopes.
The grant would help fund the Radioisotope Science Center at Discovery Ridge in Columbia.
