The University of Kansas Cancer Center has hit a fundraising threshold that allows it to move forward on construction for a $450 million research facility.
Work is expected to start in the spring on the facility at the University of Kansas Medical Center's main campus in Kansas City, Kansas.
The fundraising campaign has brought in $250 million to date.
