The University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg has locked down plans to build a $42.15 million mixed-use student housing project.
The university's board of governors approved the budget last week for the 185,000-square-foot facility, which would include 325 beds for students, retail spaces and areas designed to promote social interaction, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
The university chose Kansas City general contractor McCownGordon Construction LLC and Lawrence architecture firm Treanor Architects PA for the project.
