The University of Arkansas fired head football coach Chad Morris.
The decision followed the Razorbacks' 45-19 non-conference loss to Western Kentucky University.
“As part of my continued evaluation, I have come to the conclusion that a change in leadership is necessary to move our football program forward and position it for success," Athletics Director Hunter Yurachek said. “It is clear that we have not made the progress necessary to compete and win."
Morris finished his time with the Razorbacks with a 4-18 record.
