UnitedHealth Group reported an earnings increase as it felt the impacts of pulling out of Affordable Care Act markets.
Adjusted net earnings came to $2.6 billion, or $2.66 per share, compared with $2.1 billion a year earlier.
Revenue rose 8.7 percent to $50.3 billion. Consolidated revenue took a $1.6 billion hit related to its withdrawal from ACA markets and an ACA tax deferral.
