UnitedHealth to exit California's Obamacare market

UnitedHealth Group plans to excited California's insurance exchange by the end of the year.

In April, the company announced it was dropping out of all but a handful of 34 health insurance marketplaces it participates in. Its plans for California were not confirmed until yesterday.

According to CNNMoney, UnitedHealth likely will continue offering coverage to employers in California and to government workers and their families through the California Public Employees' Retirement System.
