UnitedHealth raises forecast for losses on ACA plans

UnitedHealth Group Inc. announced its projected losses on the Affordable Care Act exchanges for 2016 deepened as enrollment grew, despite the company’s efforts to reduce sign-ups.

The largest U.S. health insurer, which plans to move out of its Springfield facility later this year, expects to lose over $500 million on 2016 ACA plans.

That's up from previous projections of $400 million to $425 million in losses.
