United Technologies Corp. will create an aerospace giant with its $23 billion proposal to buy Rockwell Collins Inc.
The combined company's product line would include Rockwell Collins’s touchscreen cockpit displays and jet engines built by Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies.
Rockwell Collins shareholders are slated to receive $140 per share in cash and stock.
