United Airlines promoted Brett Hart to president of the company.
The airline's current executive vice president and chief administrative officer, Hart is slated to take on the new role starting May 20.
It's part of a previously announced succession plan, through which CEO Oscar Munoz will become executive chair and President Scott Kirby will become chief executive.
