The United Food and Commercial Workers Local Union 88 has rejected a contract offer from St. Louis-based grocery chain Schnucks.
A strike may be on its way.
Union officials said Schnucks’ contract offer would have “jeopardized” members’ health care plans and “failed to offer competitive wages for their hard work."
