Unilever and Kraft Heinz Co. separately announced plans to stop exports and capital investments in Russia.
"We continue to condemn the war in Ukraine as a brutal and senseless act by the Russian state," Unilever CEO Alan Jope said.
Kraft Heinz, which does about 80% of its sales in the United States and Canada, will stop selling ketchup and other condiments in Russia.
