Unilever CEO Paul Polman is retiring less than two months after a shareholder battle.
Unilever, which makes Dove soap and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, canceled plans to move its consumer group headquarters to the Netherlands over investor complaints.
Alan Jope, head of the company's beauty business, will succeed Polman as CEO in January.
