In one of the biggest hacks in history, Under Armour Inc. (NYSE: UA and UAA) disclosed Thursday that data from 150 million accounts of its MyFitnessPal diet and fitness app were compromised in February, according to Reuters.
Data stolen were account user names, email addresses and scrambled passwords; hackers did not get Social Security numbers, driver license numbers and payment card data, the company said in a statement.
Under Armour shares dropped 3 percent in after-hours trading Thursday, Reuters said.
It is the largest data breach this year and one of the top five to date, based on the number of records compromised, according to SecurityScorecard.
