The University of Missouri-St. Louis is nearing a deal to sell the Normandie Golf Club for $1.5 million.
The nonprofit Beyond Housing is seeking pledges to buy the property. Beyond Housing, which currently is leasing the property, has gathered $300,000 in pledges so far.
ND Consulting Group also has presented a plan for an $11 million senior housing project across from the golf course.
