The University of Missouri-St. Louis announced a new startup accelerator.
Dubbed UMSL Accelerate, the program is designed to support startups founded by entrepreneurs from “underrepresented backgrounds," according to school officials.
“St. Louis has an opportunity to show the rest of the country what it truly means to amplify diverse founders with tangible, equitable, direct investments," said Dan Lauer, UMSL Accelerate's executive director.
