UMB Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: UMBF), which operates two UMB Bank branches in Springfield, has advanced five southwest Missouri employees up the ladder.
Most noticeably, Southwest Missouri Region President Ann Marie Baker moves onto the newly created position of president of the greater Missouri region. In her new role, Baker is responsible for leading business development efforts as well as brand and market development throughout Missouri, with the exception of Kansas City and St. Louis, according to a news release.
“Ann Marie has earned an excellent reputation among her clients and peers,” said Tony Mayfield, chairman and CEO of the greater Missouri region, in the release. “I have no doubt that her leadership and expertise will continue to benefit our customers and expand our relationships throughout the region.”
Mayfield said Baker will still be based in Springfield, but will focus her nearly 30 years of experience with UMB more regionally throughout Missouri.
Following Baker’s promotion, John Wilson moves into the leadership role in Springfield as community bank president. He is responsible for building long-term client relationships, targeting new business opportunities and leading commercial lending efforts.
Community Bank President of Joplin Eric Reisinger takes the title of community bank president of southwest Missouri, leading teams in Joplin, Carthage and Monett.
Wilson and Reisinger are sharing Baker's previous job responsibilities in their respective communities.
UMB also promoted Brent Kembell to senior vice president in commercial banking and Justin Butler to vice president of commercial banking, according to the release. The promotions were effective April 28.
