The shareholders of Kansas City-based UMB Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: UMBF) and Denver-based Heartland Financial USA Inc. (Nasdaq: HTLF) have given the green light to the proposed deal between the companies.
The $2 billion deal calls on Heartland to become a wholly owned subsidiary of UMB.
Pending regulatory approval, the deal is expected to wrap in early 2025.
