UMB Bank to buy $500M HSA business

UMB Bank reached a deal to buy a health savings account business from Old National Bank.

The deal for undisclosed terms comprises 157,000 health savings accounts with $500 million in client assets.

Evansville, Indiana-based Old National Bank has offered direct-to-employer HSAs since 2004.
