Kansas City-based UMB Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: UMBF), the parent company of UMB Bank, has closed on its acquisition of Denver-based Heartland Financial USA Inc. (Nasdaq: HTLF).
The $2 billion all-stock deal was announced last year and given regulatory approval last month.
With Heartland Financial, UMB now has $68 billion in assets and 197 branches.
