The University of Missouri System Board of Curators on Wednesday gave the green light to a new paid time off policy despite objections from employees.
Taking effect in January 2024, the policy will impact some 13,000 employees.
Workers have opposed the plan because they say their paid time off could decrease by up to 10 days per year.
