Ulta Beauty announced it would start furloughing its retail employees on April 19.
CEO Mary Dillon additionally will forego her base salary. She also donated $500,000 toward an employee relief fund for those facing financial hardships due to the coronavirus.
Online sales will continue, as will employment at the company's distribution centers. The company reportedly has 44,000 employees.
Ulta Beauty has plans to launch a store in Springfield Plaza, marking its second location in the Queen City.
