British renewable energy startup Octopus Energy intends to spin off its artificial intelligence unit.
A spinoff of Kraken Technologies is expected by mid-2026.
Octopus recently raised $1 billion in its first standalone funding round. That valued the company at $8.65 billion and paved the way for the spinoff, according to CNBC.
