The United States and United Kingdom reached a deal to maintain an open-skies agreement after Brexit.
“It’s critical that Britain maintains full access to international aviation markets so it can continue to develop its global trading links," said Willie Walsh, CEO of British Airways parent International Airlines Group, in a statement. "This agreement is a significant positive development which we welcome."
With the accord, airlines from both countries will have the same level of access that they do under the open-skies agreement between the United States and the European Union.
