UK prime minister leaves intensive care

Boris Johnson, the United Kingdom's prime minister, left intensive care Thursday after entering the ICU on Monday.

“The prime minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery,” a spokesperson for Johnson's office said.

The 55-year-old was admitted to a hospital on Sunday evening with COVID-19.
