The United States isn't the only global superpower climbing out of recession. Things are starting to pick up overseas as well, as economic output in the United Kingdom rose by 0.8 percent between July and September – the fastest growth the European country has seen in three years.
The data builds on a 0.7 percent GDP rise in the April-June period and is the best quarterly performance since 2010, according to a BBC report.
The construction industry posted 2.5 percent growth in the third quarter, followed by manufacturing at 0.9 percent and the service industry, which grew by 0.4 percent.
