UK economy shrinks

For the three-month period that ended June 30, the United Kingdom's economy shrunk by 0.2%.

That's the first dip in the country's gross domestic product in six and a half years.

According to The Guardian, the GDP decrease has some fearing the U.K. could be headed toward its first recession in a decade.
