The United Kingdom has approved a COVID-19 vaccine.
The vaccine was developed by U.S. drugmaker Pfizer and German firm BioNTech.
The United Kingdom is buying 40 million doses of the vaccine, which officials say is enough to vaccinate a third of the country's population.
