UFC sold to investor group for $4B

Mixed martial arts promotional company UFC has been sold for roughly $4 billion to a group of investors led by Hollywood talent agency WME-IMG.

President Dana White will stay on to run the UFC, and owners Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta kept only a minority interest in the company.

The Fertitta brothers and White bought UFC in 2000 for $2 million.
