Uber’s CTO steps down

Uber Chief Technology Officer Thuan Pham is stepping down from the ride-hailing company.

An Uber officer since 2013, Pham is the longest serving top executive at the company.

His exit comes as the company reportedly is mulling layoffs that could impact up to 20% of the company's workforce, or 5,400 employees.
