Uber's Chinese rival scores $7B in new funding

Didi Chuxing Technology Co., China's largest ride-sharing company, raised $7.3 billion in its latest fundraising effort.

Investors in the Uber rival include Apple Inc., China Life Insurance Co. and the financial affiliate of online shopping firm Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.

The latest round of funding values Didi Chuxing at nearly $28 billion.
