Uber is cutting 3,000 more jobs, two weeks after an initial round of layoffs affected 3,700 employees.
CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said in a letter to employees the ride-hailing company also would close or consolidate 45 offices around the world.
With the latest round of cuts, Uber would have around 20,000 employees remaining.
