Uber’s board selected Dara Khosrowshahi as the ride-hailing company's next CEO.
Khosrowshahi, Expedia's chief executive since 2005, was chosen to succeed Travis Kalanick, the company's co-founder who stepped down in June.
The board reportedly selected Khosrowshahi over Hewlett Packard Enterprise CEO Meg Whitman.
