Ride-hailing companies Uber and Lyft agreed to be subject to a proposed tax in San Francisco.
Through the tax on ride-hailing services, the companies would pay a percentage of their net ride revenues.
The funds would be allocated toward the city’s transportation infrastructure and operations improvements.
